Mary is a script writer and dubbing script adapter based in New York City.

She writes comedies about young women with mixed identities who are totally unprepared for what they're going through. Her plays and TV pilots tend to feature teenagers discovering that none of the rules make sense, imagining a better future, and realizing that they're probably gay.  Mary is currently developing new work as a member of the Interstate 73 Writers' Group at Page 73.

Her debut play was produced by Playwrights Arena in Los Angeles and has been developed at the Alliance Theatre, A Noise Within, Open Fist Theatre Company, Pasadena Playhouse, Skylight Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre Los Angeles, the University of California Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California. Her work has also received semifinalist status for the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference and I73 Playwriting Fellowship, and finalist status for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, the Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition, the Asian Pacific American Friends of Theatre & Artists at Play Emerging Playwright Commission, and the Humanitas PLAY LA Workshop.

MFA Dramatic Writing, USC. BA Math and Media Studies, Pomona College.
